| How it is...
Still over at my other blog. I have a hard tim emanuvering through Xanga and 'skins' and the templates and all that. I hope you all come visit over ther although I do post sparadically sometimes. Noe that we've given into Althea going to kindergarten Ive got some more time on my hands. And Alot more time to spend with Ella, which is one of the greatest thing to come out of this school thing. So far we've decided that we'll probably pull her next year unless hher afterschool attitude changes allot. She likes the work and the kids. I'm not minding alittle extra stucture to our day but when she gets home she is miserable, bedtime will never NOT be astruggle with this child, she is a night owl no doubt about it. I know that the pressure from my dad and ...well from my dad will be enormous next year, and cause she's in this year she'll probably get allot of,"what grade are yougoing into?" but I can see how crushed she is that she has no time for anything else, it tears her up. Yesterday she cried for 20 minutes cause she wants to goto the Apple store and its about an hour away. They have a bunch of imacs set up with kids games to play and its really cool. It is something we could do on a weekend, butnot this weekend cause we have a birthday party. She started bawling when I explained that she had school on monday and we couldnt go then. I dont know. It doesnt feel right, she never wants to go at first and then once shes awake she does and gets excited. I needed a year off, she needed to try it...its just kindergarten...... |
